The EMMANOUILIDOU BOOKSTORE (hereinafter referred to as the “Store”) is an online store through which the Greek company EMMANOUILIDIS ANASTASIOS under the name EMMANOUILIDOU BOOKSTORE (hereinafter referred to as “Seller”) with vat number: 052808256 that belongs to the Tax Office of Orestiada 68200 TH and is based at 215 Konstantinoupoleos Street, sells its products online to its customers (hereinafter referred to as the “User”). Browsing and using the Store unconditionally implies your explicit consent and agreement with the following terms, so please read them carefully. The Seller may modify the terms of the transactions carried out through his e-shop, according to the needs arising from his/her environment of activity. In any case, it is obliged to inform users through this website about modifications of these terms. Finally, any modification of the terms applies to new orders and not to orders registered in the system at an earlier time.

1. Store Obligations and Rights

Seller is liable in case of delay in the delivery of the User’s order if this resulted from his own negligence or will and did not take care to inform the User beforehand. On the contrary, in case the delay is due to the final carrier or for reasons of force majeure, the Seller bears no responsibility. The Seller does not guarantee the immediate availability of the products he exhibits in the store, but is obliged to immediately inform the user about their non-availability in case of order or communication. The Seller is not responsible for any technical problems that may arise to the User during navigation in the Store, but he declares his/her willingness to support him/her in them if possible through telephone or other communication method. Seller undertakes to try to keep the Store up to date with complete and at the same time valid information as a reference to the products and services provided, but it is not responsible for any technical or typographical errors that have escaped attention or have been inadvertently caused to it.

2. User Obligations and Rights

The User of the Store by navigating to it implies that he agrees and accepts that he will not use the material of the website in any other way except to be informed about the products exhibited by the Seller or to order them. Also, the User has the right to relay this information electronically or in a printed way for the purpose of its disclosure to third parties if the User believes that they are interested in being informed accordingly.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The Store is the seller’s official website. The products, the services provided, the images and generally all the content and structure of the websites are the intellectual property of the Seller and are protected by the provisions of both Greek law and European and international conventions. Any copying, reproduction, distribution, transfer, downloading, processing, resale, creation of derivative work or misleading consumers about the actual provider of the content of the websites is expressly prohibited. The reproduction, republication, downloading, announcement, dissemination or transmission or any other use of the Content in any way or means for commercial or other purposes is permitted only with the prior written permission of the Seller or other legal owner of the above copyrights. All names, images, logos and distinctive features representing the Seller and/or the Store as well as third parties contracted with them as well as their products or services, are exclusive trademarks and distinctive features of the Seller and the store or the above third parties and are under the protection of the Greek,  Community and international trademark, industrial, intellectual property and unfair competition laws.

4. Transaction and Navigation Security – Personal Data

The Seller undertakes to provide the User with the maximum possible security of his/her personal data during navigation and the realization of his/her transactions through the Store. The User’s personal information and the information about his transactions in the Store are secure and confidential. This is achieved using the most modern and advanced methods offered by today’s technology. Analytically:

• User’s login system via username and personal secret security code.
• At any stage of the transmission of confidential personal data, a special protected environment is used.
• In particular, purchases using a credit card are made through the e-commerce system of NBG, in a specially encrypted environment.

Personal Data

The User’s personal information requested in the Store is used exclusively to process his orders or requests smoothly, or to improve the services provided by the Seller to the User and always only by specially authorized employees of the Seller.

Special Credit Card Purchase Terms

The Special Terms of Purchase with Credit Card aim to determine the conditions of sale between each User of the Store and the Seller. These Terms are the only ones applicable and supersede any other terms, except for exceptions, formulated in writing and clearly. We consider that you fully accept the Terms after reading them:

• All orders placed through the Store and payment made by credit card are verified by the Seller.
• If the holder of the credit card is not the same as the Customer, then the Customer must send an additional Authorization of the Holder of the Credit Card, for charging the card with confirmation of the authenticity of the signature by the Police, the K.E.P. or other Public Service.
• This authorization to use the third party card by the applicant is valid until its written cancellation.
• You can choose whether to pay the value of your order in a lump sum or in interest-free installments.

Order Shipment

The products are shipped within 3 working days. In the months of September, October, December there may be a slight delay due to workload. In case a product is not ready for its use, you are informed about when it will be available. The balances of your orders are shipped as soon as the items are available, after you have been informed beforehand.

In the products that are written the term “on order” the shipment is made within 4 to 6 working days. In case there is a longer delay or change in availability by the supplier of the Store, the User will be informed by phone.

Shipping

Deliveries are executed by courier (Geniki Taxydromiki S.A.) at the choice of the Seller.

For orders over 10 kg, deliveries are carried out with a transport company after consultation with the store.

If you have placed an order by registering, you will receive an update in your mail on the day of the dispatch of your order with all the shipping details as well as the voucher of the package so that you can see where your shipment is located (tracking) at any time.

Deliveries take place throughout the day from 09:00 to 18:00.

Delivery on Saturday, as well as delivery at a specific time is charged with an additional 3,00€

Pick-up from the store

In all our products there is the possibility of receipt from the store for free.

Note: Please come to the store as soon as we inform you that your order is ready.

Shipping Costs

For shipment to land destinations of the Geniki Taxydromiki S.A. network, with delivery on the next working day, the charge is 4,00€ up to 2 kg of weight. For every extra kilo, the charge is 1.10€. (For some combinations of mission city – city of delivery the time can be extended to 2 working days).

For shipment to island destinations of the Geniki Taxydydiki S.A. network, with delivery within 2 working days, the charge is 4,00€ up to 2 kg of weight. For every extra kilo, the charge is 1.24€.

In case you choose the payment method, this cash on delivery has a charge of 1,50 €.

Free Shipping

For orders over 49.90€ shipping is free for packages up to 2kg. If the package exceeds 2 kilos then there is an extra charge.

Shipping to Cyprus

For shipping with delivery within 2 working days, the charge is 18.60€ up to 2 kg of weight. For every extra kilo, the charge is 5.58€. For shipments from Attica there is the possibility of delivery in 1 working day.

The above charges also concern inaccessible destinations (with delivery in 2-4 working days).

Order Delay

Any delay in your order may be due to one of the following reasons:

– The supplier was late in sending the product. In order to offer you variety and competitive prices we order our products from a large list of suppliers, Greek and foreign. It happens, however, many times that an order is delayed at customs or in its transportation. In such cases we contact you and ask you if you want to deliver the order without the specific product or by replacing it with another one. We will send this item to you immediately after receiving it in our warehouses.

– The product you have ordered has already been removed and is not available. In the products available through our online store, many times there is the phenomenon of a supplier announcing unannounced that he is removing some products. And in this case a person of our company will contact you in order to give you alternative solutions.

– When extreme weather events or strikes occur and generally in cases of force majeure that affect the smooth transportation and delivery.

– During peak periods (e.g. Christmas, Easter, Halloween).

– Finally, in any case where it is not possible to contact you (by phone or by e-mail) to address any problems, regarding your order or its payment. For example, when your information you have entered is not properly updated.

The above charges include 24% VAT.

In case of incorrect estimation of the automated cost, the company EMMANOUILIDOU BOOKSTORE will inform you about the CORRECT transport cost in order to proceed or cancel your order.

Product Returns & Order Cancellations

Returns are accepted within 14 days from the date of issue of the sales document and if the packaging of these products has not been opened / destroyed. The costs resulting from changes, such as the costs of the return and any new shipments, are borne by you. Cancellation of your order is made free of charge if it has not been shipped from our warehouses.

Refunds are not accepted.

Defective Products

In case you received products that were hit, broke or are defective, a declaration must be made by you immediately (no later than the 2nd day of receipt) to the carrier responsible for the correct transportation, but also to us. Of course, if it is our responsibility, defective products will be replaced without any charge.
